A pretty self-explanatory name, Farm : Table, meaning their ingredients come directly from the farm to their kitchen and lastly onto the table. It’s extremely small with only one table and a couple of seats outside. Because of the size, it feels super comfortable and home-like.
Ever seen such a gorgeous colorful toast? Well. Now you have. Lucky me. Not only did I saw it, I got to eat it too. The brioche toast was not too crunchy nor too soft. Fairly easy to cut through. A thin layer of sweetened mascarpone was spread on top with fresh and seasonal fruits. I really enjoy the crunch and toasty, nutty flavour of the pistachios. Simple and delightful.
Now to the savory side. The Quiche Loraine was baked with eggs, ham, swiss cheese, cream in a tart dough. It was umami, creamy, and cheesy alongside the flaky and crunchy tart layer. The timing was right on. It got the golden brown color on the tart and excellent texture of the egg.
What’s after a sweet toast and a savory tart? Of course, a sweet and savory Croissant Sandwich. The croissant was airy, flaky, and sweet sandwiching a hard boiled egg, ham, and mixed greens spread with creme fraiche. Absolutely delicious.
Would I visit again? Yes.
